Also did 10 incline-bench situps and 5 hanging leg raises (slow / held up for a bit). Feeling good.

nonstop except about 30 seconds of treading water to let someone pass (crowded == shared lane)

500m at the pool

Had a mild cold or allergies last week so didn't exercise :(

Until today. Swam 500m at the pool. Pretty fast, some breaks, felt great.

Oh - and it was sunny out! So nice.

Swam 12 laps including some pretty fast sprints. Definitely got the blood flowing and arms really tired.

First swim in a long time

Swam 8 laps at the pool in about 15 minutes. With a half-size olympic pool of 25m each way, that's 400 meters.

By comparison, a few years ago I was up to 1k. So a ways to go.

Back and arms are feeling it already, but feels great.

Back to the Gym

Went back to the gym this morning for the first time in years.

Did 18 minutes on the elliptical trainer, mostly low and medium intensity cardio.

Felt great all day with lots of energy.
