500m at the pool
Had a mild cold or allergies last week so didn't exercise :(
Until today. Swam 500m at the pool. Pretty fast, some breaks, felt great.
Oh - and it was sunny out! So nice.

A quick 600m at the pool.
Swam 600m. Got to 250m without stopping and the whole swim was faster again than last time. Yay.

Did 20 minutes on the elliptical this morning, for 250 calories burned.

Another swim
Swam 11 laps, 550 meters. Much faster and stronger than the last. Still had to pause every 1-2 laps, but for a shorter rest.

Yup. That's about it. Nowhere near as whole-body a workout as swimming, but felt great all day.

Second swim - 12 laps
Swam 12 laps including some pretty fast sprints. Definitely got the blood flowing and arms really tired.
600m - woohoo!

First swim in a long time
Swam 8 laps at the pool in about 15 minutes. With a half-size olympic pool of 25m each way, that's 400 meters.
By comparison, a few years ago I was up to 1k. So a ways to go.
Back and arms are feeling it already, but feels great.

Back to the Gym
Went back to the gym this morning for the first time in years.
Did 18 minutes on the elliptical trainer, mostly low and medium intensity cardio.
Felt great all day with lots of energy.
